OSSD CREDITS: Ontario high school students can earn up to 2 CO-OP credits toward compulsory requirements and unlimited CO-OP credits as electives, with real world experience while earning their diploma.

Here’s how:
1. Why Choose This Program?
The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program at THINNOX lets you do just that! You’ll earn your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) while focusing on a STEAM specialization that interests you-like communication technology, computer science, technological design, interactive design and more. It’s a great way to build skills, boost your resume, and get a head start on your future!

Here’s what you’ll do in the program:
  • Take 8-10 courses related to your chosen area
  • Gain real work experience through co-op placements
2. When you finish, you'll graduate with:
  • A high school diploma with a SHSM seal on it 
  • A record of your certifications, courses, and co-op experiences
  • Extra recognition on your Ontario Student Transcript
3. TEAM Skills

BOOTCAMP projects are accomplished through pods of 2 or 3 team members that participants choose and invite.
